Green Beans and Beef over Egg Noodles Recipe
Ingredients: 1/2 - 10 ounce package of frozen green beans, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef, 3/4 cup water, 2 cups beef broth, 1/3 cup flour, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, salt and pepper to taste, one package of egg noodles, and chopped up fresh flat leaf parsley for garnish.
Directions: Microwave frozen green beans according to the package directions. Heat oil in a skillet. Add onions and ground beef and cook over medium flame until meat is cooked through.
While meat is cooking, cook egg noodles according to the package directions, drain, and set aside.
Combine water, beef broth, flour, garlic and onion powder in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Poor beef broth mixture over ground beef and cook, stirring frequently until mixture thickens. Add in green beans, salt and pepper to taste to the ground beef mixture and stir to combine.
Serve over hot noodles and garnish with parsley.
